Who is the Pittsburgh Chapter of Case Management Society of America?

The Pittsburgh Chapter of Case Management Society of America (CMSA) is a local organization that was incorporated in June 1998 and is linked to the national CMSA organization.  The founding members began with the idea that southwestern Pennsylvania needed an organization that would benefit the many health care professionals who serve in a case management role.

The local organization’s mission is to promote case management and to assist in the national accreditation process for case managers.

What are the goals of the Pittsburgh Chapter of Case Management Society of America (CMSA)?

Coordination of educational programs in order to further professional development of local case managers in southwestern Pennsylvania.  To support local professional peer networking opportunities and provide a forum for legislative involvement to keep abreast of all the changes in the healthcare arena.  

How often does the Pittsburgh Chapter of Case Management Society of America (CMSA) offer educational programs?

The Educational Committee organizes typically four programs per year offering CEU’s for CCM certification. How to join the Pittsburgh Chapter of Case Management Society of America (CMSA)?

The Pittsburgh Chapter is only one of over 70 organizations affiliated with the National CMSA. We are in the development phase of the local chapter and would like to increase our membership.  The quality and productivity of the Pittsburgh Chapter of CMSA’s services rely upon the commitment of its membership.
